The finest natural cacao butter with a delicious chocolaty aroma. You can use it as a moisturiser, add it to meals, make hot chocolate or even make your own chocolate!
Cacao butter melts at around 35°C to form a luxurious golden liquid from which is it surprisingly easy to make your own chocolate bars:
1. Melt the cacao butter in a water bath (glass bowl in a saucepan of hot water)
2. Stir in the cacao powder, sweetener of your choice (Agave syrup or sifted golden icing sugar) and vanilla extract
3. Pour into a chocolate bar mold or onto a plate, ice cube tray or any other vessel!
4. Leave in the freezer for half an hour.
5. Enjoy your own bar!
Start with around 40% cacao butter, 30% cacao power and 30% sweetener, although you can experiment with the proportions to match you personal tastes. It can also be fun to add spices (cinnamon, ginger, cayenne pepper), maca, ground coffee, nuts, dried fruits... go wild!
